In 2024 Scorpa became the first manufacturer to use a BOS shock on the rear, a move away from the tried and tested Reiger. In 2025, in another bold move Scorpa will now use BOS forks as well. At the moment these forks are unique to Scorpa who, in the launch of their 2025 bike have stated that the forks are lighter and will improve handling. In this brief article I will take a look at some of the technical details.
The left fork, on the disc side contains a spring and the right hand fork provides the hydraulic action.
Spring preload, is adjusted by a 14mm Socket, where one revolution represents 1.5mm of preload
The hydraulic fork contains both rebound and compression adjustment.
Compression is adjusted on the bottom of the fork using a flat screwdriver.
Rebound adjustment is on the top of the fork and is completed by the use of a flat screwdriver.
Standard settings are as follows:
Rebound 30 clicks
Compression 12 Clicks
Spring Preload 3 Turns
As more information becomes available I will updated this post.
